About ZAYX
The story behind ZAYX and why it exists.
It started with an obsession.
ZAYX started with a simple obsession — fintech apps. Not React Native in general. Not UI design in general. Fintech. Payment flows. Wallets. Cards. Transactions. The little interactions that make moving money feel intuitive. While building fintech interfaces, I kept coming across interaction ideas I wanted to build — but there was rarely a library, reference, or starting point for them. So I started building them myself. And eventually, those experiments became ZAYX.
The problem
No niche libraries
Countless libraries cover universal UI — buttons, inputs, modals, OTP fields. But options that actually feel like fintech are rare.
Scattered ideas
Great fintech interaction concepts exist across the internet — especially on X. But they're scattered across projects and posts, not one coherent system.
Inconsistent design language
Even when niche components exist, they're built independently — different developers, different logic, different visual language. Nothing feels connected.
Generic isn't enough
Fintech apps deal with money, trust, and decisions. The interactions should feel just as considered — not generic components stretched to fit.
So I built ZAYX. ZAYX is a niche-first interaction library for fintech. Every component is designed around a specific interaction idea rather than starting with a generic UI primitive and adding a fintech skin on top.

Every component in ZAYX starts as a concept. Most never make it into the library. The ones that survive become part of the system.

More than a component library.
ZAYX exists to explore an idea: What if component libraries were built around niches instead of primitives? Fintech is where that idea started. But it doesn't have to end there. There are entire categories of products with their own interaction patterns, visual languages, and user expectations.
The goal is to build libraries that understand the context they're designed for — rather than forcing every product into the same collection of generic components.
